My years of training and experience in family systems, solution focused therapy and coaching have given me a strong belief in the resilience people have and their capacity to develop new skills that will help them create a more emotionally satisfying life. I assist my clients in achieving outcomes that best respect their efforts to bring change to their lives and to manage changes that they never sought.
I respect my clients and their ability to face challenges, to work through feelings, and to achieve outcomes that maintain their dignity and the dignity of their families.
I became trained in the collaborative law process to assist families in resolving emotional disputes such as divorce, custody and child support issues with as little damage to relationships and family finances as possible. The collaborative process focuses on creating a safe environment for the couple to resolve conflict without going to court.
I am a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Collaborative Law Institute of Texas and the Collaborative Lawyers of Arlington and Mansfield, and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
